Leeuwarden | Part-time | Flexible around your studies
Not your average student job
By our estimate, more than 80 million single-use temperature loggers are used in the cold chain every year. Small plastic devices full of electronics, most of them used once and then thrown away.
That is how it has been done for decades.
Tapp thinks there is a smarter way.
From Leeuwarden, we develop a paper-based data logger with a printed battery instead of a lithium cell, and up to 90% less electronic waste than the industry average. Now we want more companies to get to know Tapp.
That is where you come in.
You open the conversation
As a Working Student in Sales, you sit at the front of our sales pipeline. You follow up on existing leads, approach new potential customers, and find out where the commercial opportunities are.
Good sales, to us, does not mean doing most of the talking. Listening well, asking questions, and sensing what matters to a company are what count.
You will:
- call and follow up on existing leads
- approach new potential customers by phone, email, and LinkedIn
- listen, ask follow-up questions, and recognize commercial opportunities
- schedule qualified meetings
- keep relevant information up to date in our CRM
We are not looking for a perfect sales resume
Maybe you work in hospitality right now, or you have call center experience, or you have done door-to-door sales. Useful, but not required.
Above all, we are looking for someone who connects easily with people, is not afraid to pick up the phone, takes action without being asked, and is not thrown off by a no.
You are curious, you want to learn, and you are fluent in Dutch and English.
Experience helps. Eagerness matters more.
Working at Tapp
At Tapp it comes down to ownership, courage, craftsmanship, speed, and team. We are a startup: lines are short, things can change quickly, and you get responsibility from day one.
You work from our office in Leeuwarden, with Niels (CEO) and Jaap (Head of Growth) guiding you. We arrange your hours flexibly around your studies. Class until 1 pm? Then you can still work a few hours afterward. A day off, or more time during the holidays? You can put in extra hours if you want to.
If you do not live in Leeuwarden, the office is easy to reach by public transport. We are about a two-minute walk from Leeuwarden station. The train from Groningen takes about 35 minutes, and from Heerenveen about 30 minutes.
