We make paper smart by integrating sensors, printed batteries and microchips. The paper label around your neck is powered with a chip that needs no power supply. That’s right, it runs without a battery. How?
It powers itself through radio waves, which are all around us in the air. This paper is able to locate itself without GPS, without additional power supply. It connects with dedicated gateways that we installed all around the festival area. It is Internet of Things how it was supposed to be.
