Every year, more than 80 million temperature loggers are used in the global cold chain. Each one is a small plastic device packed with electronics. And each one is basically used once before it’s thrown away. The industry has operated this way for decades. Not because it is the best solution but because nobody really built a better one.
Until we came along.
Tapp is a tech startup building a paper-based data logger powered by an ink energy source, using 90% less electronics than anything else on the market. No cables, no software, no useless hardware. We are replacing a category of hardware with something smarter, cleaner and radically simpler. And we are doing it from Leeuwarden, scaling globally.
